Recipe tips & variations
- Substitutions: If you can’t find candy eyes, small white chocolate chips with a dot of melted chocolate make a great alternative.
- Creative touches: Use red M&Ms for Rudolph’s nose and other colors for his friends or to match your festive theme.
- Mess-free melting: If you find the chocolate hardening too quickly, melt it in smaller batches or place the bowl over warm water to keep it soft.
Storage & reheating
Store finished donuts in an airtight container at room temperature. These treats should be enjoyed within a couple of days to maintain freshness. While they’re best fresh, you can lightly warm them again by leaving them at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving.
