  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for the filling)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for the filling)

Preparing the Soft Dough:
